About
With an 11-year career in law enforcement, I bore witness to the profound, lasting impact of trauma—not only on victims and their loved ones, but also on the responders who carry those scenes home every day. As I observed the limits of what I could do in the moment, I recognized a deeper calling: to transform pain into healing and purpose.
That realisation led me to pursue a new path in clinical trauma recovery and life coaching. Today, I blend evidence-based trauma work with neuroscience-informed coaching and a Christian worldview to help clients resolve painful pasts and reclaim a forward-looking, meaningful life. My approach honours the realities of trauma while guiding individuals toward clarity, resilience, and achievable goals—whether they’re seeking personal recovery, renewed hope for the future, or strategies to reach their next chapter with confidence.
My Passion
My passion for trauma recovery grew from a life lived in service. After an 11-year career in law enforcement, I saw firsthand how trauma reshapes lives—not only for those directly affected but for the whole community, including responders who bear scenes home with them. My family and I also served on the mission field in the Middle East, where I witnessed profound resilience and need in equal measure. Returning home to South Africa in early 2024 renewed my sense of purpose: to channel the urgent compassion I’ve seen into practical, evidence-informed healing that honors each person’s story and dignity.
A turning point came with reading Suffering and the Heart of God, which challenged me to see the world’s largest unreached people group—the traumatised—living amongst us. This insight deepened my conviction that healing is both possible and essential. Rooted in a Christian worldview, I now partner with clients to move from painful pasts toward hopeful futures. By integrating trauma-focused clinical work with neuroscience-informed coaching, I help people reconnect with possibility, set meaningful goals, and step into futures they once imagined were out of reach.
